Ontario government not doing enough to protect private data

In response to a high-profile privacy incident in December 2004 (see The Canadian Privacy Law Blog: Another privacy breach to round out the week), the Ontario government commissioned a study of privacy practices by Deloitte & Touche. The report is in (I haven't tracked down a copy yet) and it calls for "more robust privacy policies, procedures and other initiatives."
